Hi, I’m Veronika – designer and design researcher located in Barcelona.

I graduated from the Integrated Product Design Master’s track at the TU Delft, where I followed the Medisign specialisation. I am passionate about designing for the healthcare context and creating socially relevant design. Doing fieldwork, tinkering with prototypes and an iterative design approach keeps me close to both the material and the human side of design.

MSc Integrated Product Design
Specialisation Medisign

Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands

2017 – 2019

BSc Industrial Design Engineering

Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary

2011 – 2015

Student Assistant, TU Delft

design research, graphic design

2019 – 2020

I was helping Pieter Desmet with the preparation and management of the course ‘Design for Emotion’. I was also working on supporting materials for his research into the world of moods and emotions.

CAD Draftsman, GE Healthcare

engineering, AutoCAD, molecular imaging, teamwork

2015 – 2016

I was working as part of the Budapest site planning team to create implementation plans for imaging diagnostics equipment (CTs, MRIs, SPECT CTs, etc.). I was working in direct contact with the project managers and modality leaders to create the best flow for health professionals, patients and maintenance personnel, balancing the time pressure, site specific constraints and the technical requirements.

CAD Designer, GE Healthcare

engineering, AutoCAD, molecular imaging, teamwork

2016 – 2017

I was responsible for the site planning efforts concerning the Molecular Imaging modality. This entailed supervising the drawing quality of the modality, coordination of new product implementations and also training new colleagues in the Budapest and global team.

Design Intern, S39 Hybrid Design

art&design, prototyping, concrete design, concept visualisation

2013- 2015

As a part time design intern I created 3D models, visuals and documentation for projects, worked on prototypes and helped out where it was most needed at the time. As the company was specialised on concrete, I was working with that material mostly.
